Are you where you want to be in life? Are you concerned about your so called job security? That has in a positive way, forced people to seriously consider the option of starting a home based business. Many people who start a home business usually do so by joining a Multi Level Marketing company. I believe it attracts many people because most do not require a large financial investment and many of them actually have good products. Furthermore, most of them have a system in place for you to follow. The system usually includes your own web site and a back office that has an abundance of material on how to operate your home based business. With all the tools, systems and great products/services available, then why such a large failure rate?
So why is that figure so high?
I suspect one of the main reasons is you were lied to in the beginning. Likely you were not given all the facts up front to make an informed decision. The vast majority of Network Marketing companies are set up to create failure because of the way their business plans are set up. How else do you explain the 95% failure rate. At some point, one needs to look at the industry first and see how their business structure is set up and not always place the blame on the front line people trying to make the business work.
Looking back over the past 20 years, I have come to a simple realization for the Home Based Business industry. Sometimes the company business plan is not the way for an individual to do business. The biggest mistake made by those starting in a home based MLM company is making that all important list of everyone you know. Then trying to recruit them into your wonderful business where everyone will get rich. Sounds easy. Just tell everyone you know that you have this great opportunity to work at home. What could simpler? The fact of the matter, approaching family and friends is the last thing you or me want to ever do. I do not like approaching family or friends because I have already approached them previously and prefer to keep my friendships etc in good standing.
If you have been in MLM before, then you heard the term duplication. That’s what almost all of the MLM companies teach you. The problem with this plan, and it is the same plan for most MLM companies, is that if someone is not looking for an opportunity to work at home then you are wasting your time. Eventually you will run out of people on the list and some people will absolutely start avoiding you. They are not interested in a Home Based Business. Plain and simple. Save yourself a lot of headaches. Stay away from friends and family. When they see you being successful with your home based business they will ask you about it. There are so many other and more efficient ways to build a business with the internet.
If you are worn out from your network marketing experience, then consider buying customers. Yes, you heard it right. Buy customers each month and build a long term and stable business. Don’t waste your money on purchasing leads. You’ll be discouraged very, very quickly. Having a home based business can be very rewarding if done correctly in a team environment.
